Reames

Calling all my readers, wanna be readers, entrepreneurs and anyone who wants to grow in 2022!!
I have started a free book club just for you. We will be reading one book per month walking us through mindset, productivity, business development and relationships. I will be providing weekly discussion questions and we will have a fireside chat at the end of the month. I’m so excited for this new adventure as we read, devour and dissect these amazing twelve books.
About Luverta
Luverta Reames is an editor, proofreader and scribe. Born and raised in Chicago, Luverta started her editorial career as a writing intern with the Speakers, Publishers and Authors Association. Luverta graduated with her bachelor’s degree in business administration and journalism from Olivet Nazarene University and has a masters in publishing from Pace University.
In 2018, Luverta launched Bookmarked Media, a content development company devoted to helping faith-based believers in the beginning stages of their publishing journey create content to achieve their publishing goals.

We are committed to making sure every author has the access, knowledge and tools needed to professionally craft their content to appeal to any publishing platform. We strive to:
-
give writers and authors the freedom to produce content that matter to them
-
empower them to fortify their content through the editorial process and
-
encourage, inspire and stimulate writers through their own personal publishing journey
COPY EDITING
A copyeditor checks for and corrects errors in grammar, spelling, syntax, and punctuation. We are not glorified spell checkers but your partner in your publication process.
PROOFREADING
The proofreader’s job is to take the original edited copy and compares it to the proof, the printed versions of the manuscript. We are making sure that no errors have been introduced due to formatting or printing.
BOOK EDITING
Book editing is the process of preparing a book for publication. The process involves both copyediting, and proofreading. We use style manuals like the Chicago Manual of Style and the Christian Writer’s Manual of Style.
